Dungeon lords steam edition walkthrough6/22/2023 ![]() The Spellfire skill, unique to the Wizard class, boosts the amount of damage inflicted by a character’s magic spells, and improves their ability to penetrate anti-magic fields and barriers. There are also several Diabolic Skills that support Arcane Magic. Most of the Mage's upgrade paths have this skill, and also the final upgrade classes can have a learning bonus for it. With a high enough level, lower level Arcane Spells can recharge almost as fast as enemies appear. The higher its level, the faster any and all Arcane spells will recharge. It decreases the recharge time for all Spellbooks. The Scribe Magic skill is the direct support for the Arcane Magic Skill. The Wizard gives a fifteen percent bonus to Arcane and Nether, as well as a resistance boost. ![]() The Vixen gives a ten percent bonus to all magic, in addition to all of its other effects. The Sun and the Moon gives a fifteen percent bonus to Arcane and Nether Magic, as well as a bonus to the Ninjutsu skill. The Knave of Wands gives a five percent bonus when casting an Arcane Spell, and a five percent bonus to Arcane Spell recharging. The Magician gives a ten percent bonus when casting an Arcane Spell. Several Heraldry items also support Arcane Magic. This will enable the player to buy an infinite number of copies, at least in CE. If the player finds or gains a Spellbook that is not normally sold at a guild shop, selling a copy of that Spellbook to the shop will add it to the shop's normal merchandise. Joining the Guild of Mages not only allows for the Sorcerer and Battle Mage classes, as well as the Wizard and Warlock, but also unlocks the full inventory of the guild's shops. Also the Enchantress and Warwitch classes of the Sisterhood offer learning bonuses for the Arcane Magic Skill. The Mage starting class has a bonus for learning Arcane Magic as does all of its upgraded incarnations (Sorcerer/Wizard, Battlemage/Warlock, Shugenja, Kenjassai). The liability is that a Scroll will never gain the bonus from the user having a high Arcane Magic Skill. The benefit is that a Scroll will never fail from the user not having enough Arcane Magic Skill. Scrolls work independent of the player's Arcane Magic Skill, which is both a benefit and a liability. Many Scrolls cast Arcane spells: Freezing Touch, Magic Missile, Shrieking Star, Fireball, and Blast Nova. Scrolls are also considered a form of Arcane Magic. Copies of Spellbooks stack, so there is only one icon per spell in a player's inventory, and this enables the player to sell off copies, i.e. The Scribe skill increases the recharge rate of all Spell books enabling more usage for the higher level spells. ![]() Spellbooks recharge their energy over time, with the higher level spells taking longer to recharge.
